Rose Velvet Squiddleknit Dress

I'm starting to work on constructing a Velvet Squiddleknit Dress so I can cosplay as Rose, so I drew this at first to show my mom what it should look like, and then just to see how hard it is to shade as if the light is coming from the bottom of the page.

I know she has no thumbs, I realized that when I was drawing the line art, and I couldn't make it look right with them, so I gave up.
